Dearborn residents can learn about local domestic violence resources at a free Zoom panel Henry Ford College hosts Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Representatives from Dearborn Public Schools, ACCESS Survivors of Violence Empowerment Programs, the Community Health and Social Services (CHASS) Center and HFC Counseling will serve as panelists, according to the college's announcement. The panel falls during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a national observance held each October since 1987.
HFC Counseling and the college's Student Conduct and Compliance and Title IX Office co-sponsor the event.
Attendees can join anonymously and listen without participating, an option the college highlighted for anyone in an unsafe situation. The Zoom meeting ID is 91500828518, and the full link is available on the college's announcement page.
