A Walt Disney Company recruiter will visit Henry Ford College on Wednesday, Nov. 11, to interview culinary students for paid positions at Disney properties in Florida.

Pauli Milotte, senior culinary recruiter for Disney, will hold an information session and on-site interviews focused on the Disney College Program's culinary track, according to the college. The one-semester cooperative education program places students in culinary roles at Disney's Florida locations for approximately 16 to 24 weeks, according to Disney's job posting.

The session runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Michael A. Berry Amphitheater, Room L-115, inside the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center on HFC's main campus.

Anyone can attend the information session. But culinary arts students and alumni who want an interview with Milotte must complete a separate Disney culinary application online before Nov. 11. HFC Career Services will prescreen applicants, schedule 30-minute interview slots and require a sanitation quiz as part of the process.

"HFC has a long and established history of sending our students to work at Disney," HFC Career Services officer Chad Austin said in the college's announcement. "Many of our students have found the experience invaluable as they begin their professional journey in the field of hospitality."

What students need to do

Culinary arts students and alumni should:

  • Complete the Disney culinary application online (separate from the event registration) before Nov. 11.
  • Register for the information session through HFC's Handshake portal (recommended but not required).
  • Prepare for a sanitation quiz during the screening process

Students interested in non-culinary Disney opportunities can apply through jobs.disneycareers.com by selecting "student/intern" under "Job Type."

HFC's culinary arts programs are fully accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), offering credentials from an 18-credit certificate through a bachelor's degree.
