Families can trick-or-treat at businesses across downtown Dearborn on Saturday, Oct. 24. The Fall Bazaar follows that evening with artisan vendors and live entertainment.
The Dearborn Downtown Development Authorities are hosting the two events on the same day as part of the 2026 Downtown Dearborn Fall Season. The annual trick-or-treating runs from 1 to 3 p.m., and the Fall Bazaar follows from 4 to 9 p.m.
Trick-or-treating takes place in both downtown districts. The organizer’s registration listing places the Fall Bazaar at Peace Park East, 13621 Michigan Ave.
Trick-or-treating: 1–3 p.m.
The afternoon event invites kids and parents to wear costumes and collect treats from participating businesses in both downtown districts. The city strongly encourages registration. DTE Energy and LOC Credit Union are sponsoring this year's trick-or-treating, according to the city's event page. Additional sponsors are expected to be announced.
Fall Bazaar: 4–9 p.m.
The bazaar features local artisan vendors selling handcrafted goods and art, live community entertainment and family-friendly activities, according to the city.
No admission fee is listed.
Parking note for visitors
Drivers heading to West Downtown should know about a three-hour parking limit now in effect at several lots. Dearborn's Parking Advisory Commission launched a one-year pilot program on Oct. 5 that caps parking at three hours, seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., at four locations: the Commandant's Quarters Lot D at 925 Monroe St., Lot E at Monroe Street and West Village Drive, Lot H at Mason Street and West Village Drive, and the ground floor of the Wagner Deck at 1034 Monroe St.
The city noted that parking limits are waived during designated city events. The announcement does not specify whether the Oct. 24 events qualify. Unlimited parking remains available on the upper levels of the Wagner Deck and the East and West parking decks on West Village Drive.
Jordan Twardy, Dearborn's economic development director, said the Parking Advisory Commission acted on "feedback from nearly four dozen businesses in the district."
